A VISIONPOINT PERSPECTIVE
Perfecting the Perfect Hire
The average cost to hire and train a new employee is estimated conservatively at two-and-a-half times the combined annual salary and benefits budgeted for the position. Add indirect costs and ripple effects of disgruntled employees and unhappy customers, and the true price tag of a bad hire can run substantially more. The bottom line: there is no longer an acceptable failure rate for hiring in today's competitive business environment.
A VISIONPOINT PERSPECTIVE

Against the backdrop of gender, race and ethnicity, generational differences bring a new level of complexity—and new opportunity—to the notion of what it is to manage a diverse workforce.
